Forestview Church of God hosts a weekly AWANA program for the children of the church and the community. Our dedicated volunteers drive the kids to church and home again each Wednesday. Here our primarily unchurched kids have the opportunity to become familiar with the church environment, meet new friends, and learn from other adults. AWANA's primary focus is Scripture memory. The children get a booklet and a vest when they begin the year and they are able to earn pins for the vest and other rewards as they memorize their verses. They also play organized games and have a Bible lesson. It is great way to bridge the gap between the neighborhood and the church.
